OpenPayd Eyes Nasdaq Listing to Fund U.S. Expansion and Acquisitions
Payments firm OpenPayd plans a Nasdaq debut by year-end to finance its U.S. entry and acquisitions, positioning itself for growth in cross-border and digital asset payments.

OpenPayd is targeting a year-end Nasdaq listing as it seeks to fund an ambitious entry into the U.S. market and pursue further acquisitions, CEO Iana Dimitrova told investors. The move is set to reshape the competitive dynamics of cross-border payments and digital asset infrastructure between Europe and North America.
The payments infrastructure company expects to complete its merger with Titan Acquisition Corp. by the end of 2026, subject to regulatory and shareholder approval. The deal implies a $1.1 billion pro forma equity value and will provide OpenPayd with fresh capital to accelerate its U.S. rollout and acquisition strategy.
OpenPayd plans to launch operations for U.S. customers by April 2027, following the acquisition of 43 state money transmitter licenses via MSB USA Inc. This regulatory foothold positions the company to immediately address both traditional and digital asset payment flows in a highly fragmented U.S. market.
OpenPayd reported $73 million in revenue for the year ended April 2026, up from $57 million the previous year, with $13 million in EBITDA but a net loss of $2.8 million due to $5.8 million in one-time transaction costs. The company’s infrastructure is already integrated with major players like Circle Payments Network, Fireblocks, and is used by Kraken, B2C2, and OKX.
The U.S. remains the world’s largest payments market and is seeing renewed interest from European fintechs and crypto infrastructure firms. OpenPayd’s entry will intensify competition, especially in cross-border payments and stablecoin services—a sector where regulatory clarity remains in flux.
Industry observers note that delays in U.S. digital asset market-structure legislation or setbacks securing regulatory approvals could slow OpenPayd’s expansion. However, the company’s acquisition-driven strategy and established partnerships position it to benefit from any acceleration in digital asset adoption or regulatory green lights.
For European and Latin American firms, OpenPayd’s transatlantic expansion signals growing integration between established financial hubs and the evolving U.S. digital payments landscape. The outcome may influence market share, pricing, and innovation across both regions, especially for businesses dependent on seamless cross-border transactions.
