Corrections Policy

Accuracy is a core editorial obligation. When EUBizNews identifies a material factual error in published journalism, we aim to correct it promptly and transparently.

What we correct

Corrections may be appropriate for inaccurate names, figures, dates, quotations, descriptions, attribution, locations or other factual claims that could materially affect a reader’s understanding of a story.

Corrections, clarifications and updates

  • Correction: used when a factual statement was wrong and is changed.
  • Clarification: used when the original wording was technically accurate but could reasonably be misunderstood or lacked important context.
  • Update: used when meaningful new information is added to an evolving story.

When a change materially alters the meaning or substance of an article, we aim to make the nature of the change clear to readers in the article itself where practical. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting or style fixes may be made without a correction note when they do not change the substance of the reporting.

Publication dates

EUBizNews does not artificially refresh publication dates simply to make older stories appear new. A story may be updated when significant new reporting or information is added, while its original publication date remains part of the article record.

How to request a correction

If you believe an EUBizNews article contains a factual error, use our contact page and include the article URL, the specific statement in question and, when possible, reliable supporting information. The newsroom will review the request and determine whether a correction, clarification or update is warranted.

Editorial standards

This policy should be read together with our Editorial Standards, which explain our approach to verification, attribution, independence, translations and newsroom technology.
