Who is behind EUBizNews

EUBizNews is a digital business-news publication focused on Europe, Latin America and the economic relationship between both regions. It was founded and is edited by Patricio De Gaetano. Information about editorial leadership and active bylines is published in our Newsroom.

Editorial independence

Decisions about what to cover, how to headline a story, which sources to consult and what editorial conclusions to present should be made on journalistic grounds. A commercial, advertising, institutional or partnership relationship does not by itself grant control over EUBizNews editorial content.

Advertising, sponsorships and material support

EUBizNews may support its operations through commercial activities such as advertising, partnerships, services or sponsored content. When content is paid, sponsored or materially supported, that relationship must be clearly disclosed so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage.

Conflicts and material relationships

If a relationship involving the publication, its editorial leadership or a contributor could reasonably affect how a reader interprets a story, we aim to disclose it in the relevant context. A commercial relationship does not automatically make a story sponsored content, but a material relationship should not be concealed.

Standards and corrections

This policy complements our Editorial Standards and Corrections Policy. If ownership, editorial leadership or a material funding relationship changes materially, this page should be updated to reflect it.
