Belgium's Spotable Secures €4M to Bolster International Construction Tech Expansion
Spotable's €4 million seed round, led by The Harbour with prominent tech investors, positions the Belgian startup to challenge established construction software firms in Europe and the U.S.

Spotable, a Belgian construction technology startup, has raised €4 million in seed funding to accelerate its international expansion, aiming to strengthen its foothold in both the European and U.S. markets. The round was organized by The Harbour and attracted backing from notable investors including Jonas Dhaenens (team.blue), Christophe Morbee (NewSchool.vc), and family office representatives Hilde Cloostermans and Philip Corens, as well as Arne Vandendriessche, former CEO of Signpost.
The new capital will be channeled into upgrading Spotable’s software platform, which is designed to help contractors streamline measuring and quoting processes. By enhancing these core features, the company aims to attract a broader user base among contractors and distributors, key customer segments in a market where digital tools for construction management are increasingly in demand.
Spotable’s move comes as the construction tech sector faces heightened competition, with established firms and emerging startups vying to digitize a traditionally manual industry. The injection of funding provides Spotable with the means to scale its operations and potentially outpace rivals, particularly as it targets larger and more mature markets like the United States.
The participation of investors with backgrounds in technology and digital transformation could influence Spotable’s approach to platform development and market entry strategy. Their expertise may help the company tailor its offering to meet specific regional requirements and differentiate itself in a crowded field.
For the European and Latin American construction sectors, Spotable’s expansion signals intensifying competition among technology providers. Contractors may benefit from improved software options, driving efficiency gains and potentially lowering operational costs, while established players could face downward pressure on pricing and market share.
As Spotable prepares to deploy its new funding, the company’s ability to deliver on product innovation and execute its international strategy will be closely watched by industry stakeholders and investors seeking exposure to digital transformation in construction.
