EBAN Congress 2026 Puts Vilnius at the Center of Europe’s Startup Investment Agenda
The event will gather business angels, venture capital funds, founders and policymakers in Lithuania on June 1–2, with a programme focused on defence, deeptech, cleantech, biotech and Europe’s strategic resilience.

EBAN Congress 2026 will take place in Vilnius on June 1 and 2, positioning Lithuania’s capital as one of Europe’s key meeting points for startup investment, venture capital and innovation policy.
The event, organized by the European Business Angel Network, will bring together angel investors, VC funds, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and policymakers to discuss the industries shaping Europe’s next phase of competitiveness. This year’s theme, “Investing in Europe’s Resilience,” reflects a broader shift in capital markets toward strategic sectors including space and defence tech, biotech, cleantech and deeptech.
The programme includes more than 70 international speakers and expects more than 80 participants across the wider agenda. Confirmed names include European Commissioner Andrius Kubilius, Vinted co-founder Milda Mitkutė, Turkish Space Agency astronaut Tuva Cihangir Atasever, investor Candace Johnson, geopolitical analyst Edward Lucas, Surfshark co-founder Vytautas Kaziukonis and Hostinger co-founder Daugirdas Jankus.
For investors, the congress will offer access to panels, keynote sessions, curated networking, one-on-one meetings and startup pitches. More than 50 startups are expected to pitch directly to investors, creating a platform for deal flow across sectors increasingly linked to Europe’s technological autonomy and industrial resilience.
Vilnius is also using the event to showcase Lithuania’s startup ecosystem. The country now has more than 1,100 startups and spin-off technology companies, several unicorns and close to 20,000 people employed in the sector, making it one of the most dynamic innovation hubs in Central and Eastern Europe.
The wider congress agenda includes side events across the city, such as the Welcome Reception at Grand Hotel Vilnius hosted by Go Vilnius, Morning Coffee with PropTech Lithuania, the Spin-off Launchpad, the EBAN Recharge Session at Rockit Vilnius and a Cyber City Tour organized with Unicorns Lithuania. The gala dinner and EBAN awards will take place at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania.
Registration is available through the official EBAN Congress website, where participants can access tickets, the congress agenda, side events, speaker information, venue details and startup pitching applications. The event will be held at the Radisson Blu in Vilnius.
EBAN Congress 2026 confirms how Europe’s investment agenda is shifting toward resilience, strategic technologies and stronger startup ecosystems, with Vilnius emerging as a key platform for investors and founders.
