Fleuret AI Raises €4M to Advance Continuous AI-Powered Cybersecurity in Europe
French startup Fleuret AI secures €4 million in pre-seed funding to automate and transform penetration testing, signaling AI's growing impact on European cybersecurity.

Fleuret AI, a French cybersecurity startup, has raised €4 million in a pre-seed funding round led by RAISE Ventures, with participation from Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind, Better Angle, and sector business angels, the company announced.
The new capital will allow Fleuret AI to accelerate development of its agentic AI platform designed to turn penetration testing—a traditionally periodic and manual exercise—into a continuous, automated process. According to the company, this shift aims to help businesses address rapidly evolving cyber threats by automating vulnerability detection and management.
Yanis Grigy, CEO and co-founder, and Augustin Ponsin, CTO and co-founder, are leading efforts to position Fleuret AI at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, an area of increasing interest for European businesses seeking robust, scalable defenses. The startup’s approach reflects growing demand for solutions that can keep pace with sophisticated attack methods and regulatory requirements across the region.
Investors in this round, including RAISE Ventures and Auriga Cyber Ventures, are betting on AI-powered automation to shape the future of digital security. The funding signals confidence in Fleuret AI’s technology as European companies contend with a complex threat landscape and limited cybersecurity talent.
Automating penetration testing and vulnerability management could reduce operational risks and compliance costs for companies, while also creating opportunities for partnerships and integration with existing security infrastructures. However, Fleuret AI faces challenges in scaling its technology to meet market demand and in competing with established cybersecurity firms with greater resources.
The announcement comes amid heightened investor interest in cybersecurity startups capable of leveraging AI to address persistent security gaps. As the sector evolves, the ability of companies like Fleuret AI to deliver reliable, real-time threat detection will be closely watched by corporates and policymakers alike.
