Kabilio secures €10m to expand AI accounting platform and launch new automation agents

Kabilio has raised €10 million in a funding round led by Picus Capital and Visionaries, with support from CDTI, Spain's public innovation agency, to strengthen its AI accounting platform and introduce new AI agents aimed at automating accounting workflows.

The latest funding brings Kabilio's total raised since launch to €14 million, positioning the company to expand its technology and market reach amid rising competition in the AI accounting sector. Both Picus Capital and Visionaries previously led Kabilio's pre-seed round, signaling continued investor confidence.

Kabilio's platform leverages AI to automate routine accounting tasks, a development that could significantly improve efficiency for accounting firms and their small business clients. The introduction of AI agents will further streamline processes, potentially reducing costs and freeing up resources for higher-value advisory work.

The participation of CDTI highlights the importance of public support for tech innovation in Europe, especially as AI-driven solutions reshape traditional industries. Enhanced automation may also create new opportunities for accounting firms to collaborate with small businesses, strengthening client relationships through improved service delivery.

However, as the AI accounting market grows, Kabilio faces increasing competition from other technology providers and remains dependent on continued investment to support its ambitious expansion plans.
