Arke Telekom Raises €1M to Advance Drone Communications for Military Operations

Arke Telekom has secured €1 million in funding from ACT Venture Partners to accelerate the development of its communication technology for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the company announced. The capital injection will also support Arke Telekom’s international expansion as demand for military-grade drone communications continues to rise.

The investment is aimed at addressing critical challenges in modern military operations, particularly the need for reliable drone communications in environments affected by electronic warfare and deliberate signal jamming. As militaries in Europe and globally increase their reliance on UAVs for surveillance, reconnaissance and tactical missions, robust communication links are essential to ensure operational effectiveness and security.

Arke Telekom’s technology development will focus on overcoming disruptions in contested environments—a growing concern as adversaries deploy increasingly sophisticated electronic countermeasures. According to the company, enhanced UAV communications could provide armed forces with greater resilience, real-time data transfer and improved mission control.

The funding from ACT Venture Partners, a venture capital firm specialized in deeptech, positions Arke Telekom to compete for a larger share of the defence sector’s UAV communications market. The firm’s solutions are expected to appeal to both European and international defence clients, where the ability to maintain secure and uninterrupted drone operations is a strategic priority.

For European and Latin American policymakers and defence contractors, advances in UAV communication not only strengthen national security but also drive innovation and competitiveness in the rapidly evolving defence technology sector. As UAV deployment expands, effective communications will remain a decisive factor in the outcome of modern conflicts and the success of defence technology exports.
